For how long can I hire the vehicles?
The minimum period of hire for all of our vehicles is 6 hours, calculated from the time of arrival at your first collection point. Any additional time required is by prior arrangement.
The rate includes travel within a radius of 30 miles by road from our Head Office in Banbridge. Any additional mileage beyond the 30-mile radius will incur an additional charge.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
To secure your booking it will be necessary to pay a deposit of £80 per vehicle. Please note this is non-refundable.
Deposits can be made by cheque, payable to E Jones and forwarded by post to:

Upon receipt of the deposit, a formal booking confirmation will be issued. The remaining balance is required in full, one month prior to the event.
What can we expect from your chauffeur?
You can expect each chauffeur to have experience of attending weddings with the vehicles concerned and you can request an Institute of Advanced Motorists qualified driver, subject to availability.
Each chauffeur will be dressed in a smart grey suit, plain shirt and tie, and dark shoes. Each will also have a name badge for identification.
The chauffeur will liaise with the wedding party and the photographer throughout the day to ensure we provide the best possible service for you all.
We appreciate this is your special day and we have found that a professional yet relaxed relationship developed between your chauffeur and the wedding party before, during and after the event goes a long way to helping your day go smoothly.
How will my chosen vehicle(s) be presented?
The standard hire charge includes each vehicle being suitably ‘dressed’ complete with ribbons and rosettes provided by us. Specific requests relating to the dress of the vehicle will of course be accommodated, but this may incur additional charges.
How reliable are the vehicles?
By definition, classic vehicles are much older than their modern- day equivalent. We ensure our vehicles are maintained in the best possible order and it is no coincidence that we choose the Volkswagen range with their world-renowned reliability.
In the highly unlikely event that one of our vehicles is unable to complete any of the journeys on the day, Vintage Wedding Vehicles undertakes to ensure your arrival at the destination using the other vehicles within our fleet where possible.
Is it possible to view the vehicles prior to the event?
Yes. All of our vehicles are available to view at our Banbridge address by prior arrangement Please contact us to arrange.
What if there is a last minute change to our plans?
Vintage Wedding Vehicles recognises that last minute changes can occur to your itinerary. We are happy to work with you to ensure that within reason we adapt to your changing needs.
Are the vehicles insured for all of our activities?
Yes. Each vehicle has appropriate motor vehicle insurance for the purpose of attending weddings and we also carry public liability insurance. We are not however insured against delays that might occur outside of our control. It is advisable that you consider separate insurance for your wedding day to cover any costs associated with such eventuality.
How many people can safely travel in the vehicles?
Hovis, our camper van, can safely carry 5 passengers.
AJ and Bertie, the VW Beetles, can each safely carry 3 passengers and our luxury support vehicle, the Land Rover Discovery, can carry a maximum of six passengers.
